The best way to support Green Windows' youth and community workshops is to take a writing workshop yourself!
Fulfill a Wish!
Here is our wishlist:
- Copy center gift cards (Kinko's or your favorite Oakland shop) for printing chapbooks. ($50 for 40 copies of basic paper, black and white)
- Office supply store gift cards (Office Depot or your favorite Oakland store) or the following items:
- Small but sturdy electric pencil sharpener
- General purpose recycled printer paper
- Pens (not fancy)
- Pencils (not mechanical) (Thanks Regina Davis!)
- Composition books 100 pp (Thanks Regina Davis!)
- Trader Joe's gift cards for cookie-makings ($9/batch)
- AC Transit and BART cards
Donate!
Green Windows runs community and youth creative workshops for under the general market fees and often for free. Your tax deductible donation would help to pay for paper, copies, prompts, transportation and home-baked cookies. Your donation could also help with the general costs of this website, business cards, postcards, mailings, fundraising workshops, and other things that will lead to more funding! A small percentage of your donation would also be supporting Intersection for the Arts and their amazing Incubator program.
